Why this must be read:astolat is probably better know for her SGA stories but she's written a handful of SG-1 and they are just a wonderful. This is a classic Aliens Make Them Do It fic but with genuine emotion, conflict and the inevitable Jack and Daniel banter that we all know and love. This fic, and her other Jack/Daniel fic, make me with that astolat had spent a little more time in the SG-1 pool, but I am thankful that she dipped her toes in at least.
