That's the first line of the story and, quite frankly, I know of no better way to capture the attention of a reader. :)

I don't want to give away too much of the plot as that would take away from the story's main strength -- i.e., its unbelievable tension -- but suffice it to say, this is a story that'll keep you on the edge of your seat when it comes to the plot and it'll blow you away with its well scripted characerizations. Plus, the slash is really, really good.

I think I'll always remember this story for its deliciously devilish Sark, brutal yet also tender Jack, and sweet Vaughn. Oh, and there's also that eye-catching first line. ;)

Be warned, though. This is a somewhat dark story with some non-con moments. But it's also one of my all-time favorite Alias slash fics.
