Why this must be read: AUs are a real art form in the Merlin fandom and this is definitely one of the most enjoyable ones. Merlin is a lowly intern at Camelot Productions when he is unexpectedly promoted to talent on a new animated series the company is producing. I love the gay dragons, post-it notes, art department and everything else about this story. The banter is great and the characterisations are spot on. The excerpts from the animated series are just icing on the cake and the final line just makes me smile...read and enjoy
