Why this must be read: I hope I don't get kicked out for reccing two stories in one day, but I thought it would be fun to finish with something light and appropriate for the season, especially since this might be the last time I get to rec here for The X-Files.

Four or five fandoms ago, misslucyjane wrote first MSR and then DSR fanfiction for The X-Files under the pen name "Jenna Tooms." As I'm not a huge fan of the romance genre, I haven't read more than a handful of her stories, but I love this short story she wrote for a Scullyfic improv back in the day.
