Why this must be read:
I was surprised this one hadn't been rec'd here. This is a modern magical AU written for the 2010 Merlin Big Bang Challenge. Merlin gets a summer job at the palace and meets Arthur--who is King of England. I like the action-adventure aspect of this AU and the strong friendships, and the romance is just plain adorkable.
