Glamour by J. C. Sun (R)
Fandom: THE X-FILES
Pairing: Mulder/Scully
Length: 1713 words
Author on LJ: Unknown
Author Website:
X-Files Fanfiction
J. C. Sun's Fic on Gossamer
Why this must be read:
If you like dark!fic and haven't read J. C. Sun before, you're in for a treat. This author was well known for her vignettes, sharp and dazzling as shattered stained glass windows. Unlike many of her others, this one wasn't nominated for a Spooky or recommended on Sparky's Doghouse. But it's the one that continues to stick in my mind, especially a certain central, heartbreaking image that for me symbolizes everything that's wrong with the canonical Mulder/Scully relationship. (It's also the story that inspired me to contact this author out of the blue to volunteer my services as her beta.)

Here's "Glamour." http://web.archive.org/web/20081121195358/http://joyce.jteers.net/fanfiction/xf-glamour.html
She says in the intro that this is the second of two parts, the first being "Breaking," so I thought I'd read it first.
I ended up back here because I saw you were posting for "House."
