Why this must be read:
thesmallhobbit writes really adorable, lovely short fics which are often sam/gene oriented. I always love her stuff for the sense that Gene is looking out for and caring about his mad DI, although this particular fic is more about one of Gene's own weaknesses, for which he needs Sam as backup. Again, as usual, I would have happily recced any number of other fics by this author!
