"romantic expressionism, or, this is why orgies get so weird so fast" by ohladybegood (PG-13)
Fandom: COMMUNITY
Pairing: Abed/Troy, Shirley/Pierce, Annie/Britta, Jeff/Abed, Annie/Jeff
Length: ~1500 words
Author on LJ:

Why this must be read: This story spins off of the season one episode "Romantic Expressionism" (with the infamous glances-around-the-study-room-table scene) to show us short scenes from five relationships that might have been after that episode. I think my favorite here is the conversation between Jeff and Abed - it captures their friendship in the show (and Abed's peculiar sense of relationships) just perfectly, and is a pairing you pretty much never see written. There's some lovely Jeff/Annie and Abed/Troy as well (two ships that have only grown in popularity since then), an uncommonly bittersweet and thoughtful look at Annie/Britta, and even some Shirley/Pierce (!) to round the whole thing out.
