I just wanted to comment here before I forgot. I haven't read LOTR fic in *years* and I never would have picked up anything involving this pairing even if I had. But the rec and the setup sounded awesome and I *loved* it. I started following c_v in order to find awesome gems and this fits the bill perfectly! Thank you for reccing it. :)
