Why this must be read: In book 5 of Harry Potter (The Order of the Phoneix), Percy Weasley has chosen to virtually disown his family to promote his new job at the Ministry of Magic. Not enough was done in the book (IMO) to explain this, Percy's sudden turning against his family.
Broken down angel, written in Percy's point of view, doesn't try to apologize away Percy's behavior. Rather, it attempts to explain it.
