Why this must be read:

I got lucky enough to drive The Sentinel van this month, right after the fics from the sentinelbigbang had finished posting. Chrysalis was one of the stand-out entries. Long, plotty, gorgeously written, this AU combines the best of The Sentinel with clever, provocative sci-fic, reminiscent of Isaac Asimov or Heinlein. I can't recommend it highly enough. Combined with some gorgeous artwork from Helvetic, this can't be missed.

I enthusiastically agree with you. Mab is superb at building AU worlds that make sense and still keep our Jim and Blair recognizable. And Helvetica's art is always gorgeous. They did a great job collaborating, and this is a well-deserved rec.
