Why this must be read:
Yet another story about Lennier's search for enlightenment post-"Objects at Rest," with a twist. Jenavira borrowed the Path of Sorrows from "Crusade," letting Lennier have a run-in with that cloudy alien in a jar who feeds on forgiveness. And there was never anyone more in want of forgiveness than Lennier.
"Vitrosh" (Adronato for "I'm sorry," according to the author's notes) is a tight, smart little vignette and a real possibility for our poor Lennier, had he had the opportunity to meet this stranger. And who's to say he didn't?
