This fic just tore my heart out. It's all about Lyta's fight for her humanity, to be recognized as something more than just a tool in the hands of the Corps/the Vorlons/the Alliance after she's played the part they want in their wars. It's also about Lyta and John Sheridan's mutual connection to Kosh, and how Lyta clings to that--and John's simple kindnesses--as a way to find that human connection again. There's a long, slow buildup of sexual tension, but it isn't just porn for the sake of porn. Read this for a fantastic character study of Lyta Alexander, or for the hotness amidst the angst, or for both!

And yes, I would never have even considered this pairing, but somehow, for this one fic, it works. Such are the joys of rare pair ficathons, I suppose (where this came from initially), and of course good authors!
