Why this must be read: In this story I love the slow build of their reconciliation, how is quite realistic (they are both hesitant to talk about the past) and the changing POV!

"I need to figure out what I'm going to do next now that I no longer have a company that needs anything from me."
Their eyes met fleetingly and Mark could hear his unspoken "again" as clear as day. But what stood out even more was what he had said before that...that he couldn't do this right now. It gave Mark courage and he was quickly finding himself sort of desperate to do something. Because if they simply went their separate ways now, Mark was not completely certain that he'd ever get another chance.
"Come to California with me," he blurted out before he could talk himself out of it.

I haven't started this fic, but I definitely will, because your recommendations have been FANTASTIC. You keep reccing authors that I'm not familiar with as well as reminding me of stories and authors that I adore. I will miss your posts once your month is over because checking my flist and seeing your recs has been such a treat. :)

I tried very hard to offer a larger range of authors than the most know ones (who btw are AMAZING, because, let's face it, if they are so loved, it means they are good).
