Why this must be read:

With no one else do the Heavens seem quite so near
Why does it happen, dear, only with you?
Back in the day, dancing was a metaphor for the sex that couldn't be shone on screen. We are more fortunate with this story, as we get the dancing and the sex. Lucky, lucky Astrid. This is one of my favorite stories in this fandom.
