Oddly, last night I was at a performance of Measure for Measure in Iowa City and the woman in front of me loudly commented that her daughter wrote P&P fanfic. If it weren't for the fact that she would have thought I was insane, I would have asked all about it. We're such a tiny fandom, so tiny that I might even be able to find out who the girl is if I was industrious, and it was so completely random to hear this older woman struggling to explain the ins and outs of fanfic to her friends. Ah, the joys of fangirldom...
