The Complementary Series (NC-17)
Ciao :) I'm
skyearth85 and I'll be your reccer for this new fandom, let's face it, the Big Fandom of 2012: Teen Wolf!
I'm finishing the fandom overview, but let's start with some fic ;)
Fandom: TEEN WOLF
Pairing: Derek/Stiles (slash)
Length: 37 000 circa
Author: thefarofixer
Why this must be read: TW is a big fandom, but one that "exploded" after some post on tumbrl, soooo, there aren't really "fandom classics" like other fandoms (not yet). But, this series is one of the few that come up in every recs I have read.
It's funny, it's sexy, has a great style.
Danny is not anybody’s gay yoda. He’d like to make that much clear.
For one thing, there are as many ways to be gay as there are Pokemon and it’s not his place to tell anyone how the hell they should be doing things. For another, he refuses to be the token anything, and it’s not like he’s the only gay kid at Beacon Hills High, he’s just the most visible at the moment since he’s both First Line on the lacrosse team and class President three years running.
So when Stiles Don’t-Invite-Him-He’s-The-Sheriff’s-Kid Stilinski asks Danny during Chem class whether or not he’s attractive to Gay Guys (like Danny is the officially elected representative for All Gay Men), Danny decides that discretion is the better part of valor and ignores him. He feels a little bit mean doing it, but everyone knows that Stiles has been mooning after Lydia Martin for the better part of ten years and Danny isn’t going to feed Stiles’ ego just because Scott Freaking McCall finally got himself a girlfriend.
The hot (and sporadically half naked), brooding man in Stiles’ bedroom gives him cause to reevaluate.
