Hi, I'll be driving the bus this month for The Sentinel. It's the first fandom I read fiction before I even saw one episode. Crossovers are evil things your know. : )

I'm an hopeless romantic, plot and angst junkie in this fandom. I'll be offering GEN and Slash recs. Oldies but goodies and new ones too. Hope you don't find the ride too bumpy.

Why this must be read:

This one fits two of my "buttons" angst and plot.
DawnC knows how to pull at your heart strings. Especially this story. Set in between Sentinel Too and The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg, Soul of mine is a story that should come with its own kleenex box.

A mix of science, conspiracy and friendship. This is still one of my favorite Gen story. Be warned, do have a few kleenex near by.

Lol, I like this story quite a bit. In general I have a low tolerance for stories that rank this high on the "sap-o-meter" but I think this counts as "very well done sap" (there must be a more constructive term than "sap" but I can't think of one right now) and is one of residents of my hard drive.

I know. I think the "angst" factor is quite high in this story. But it's balanced with a very strong plot and a depth in the characterization of both set of Jim and Blair that makes the "sap" okay in my book.

The friendship of the little ones is a what if version of the grown up friendship.

In my opinion, it's one of DawnC's strongest dramatic story because of the strong scientific point of view, the conspiracy plot and the mirrored friendship.
