Why this must be read:

Because Charlie Francis' death early in season 2 left a huge hole in fandom's heart, and doubtless the same for the wife he left behind. Zip does here what fanfic does best: fills in the missing pieces with a story that feels like canon, and asks difficult questions. Like whether a widow should meet her late husband's other-universe double, and what might happen if she did.
