Backing Up by LindaO PG-13
Fandom: PERSON OF INTEREST
Pairing: Gen: Reese, Finch, Ingram, Fusco, Carter, OC
Length: 60k
Author on LJ:
lindao
Author Website: Lyra Marlowe (Original erotic fiction), AO3 & ff.net
Why this must be read: Person of Interest show writers give us exceptionally strong and consistent female characters, whether they be the perpetrator or victim, but for some reason this has not particuarily translated to fanfiction where there are quite a few Mary Sues or women who have a propensity for bursting into tears at the first sign of trouble.
This is not the way with LindaO's OC's, they have depth, are smart and funny but are flawed in realistic ways and remain human throughout. I find myself as invested in her OC's as I am with Reese and Finch and I can give no higher praise than that. This is a long and plotty case fic with great interactions between everyone.
On a slight side note : For a long time I didn't read LindaOs work because of the synopsises, they do not in my opinion they do not do her stories justice so you need to take my word on this, her writing is fantastic.

“It’s a cruel and random world, but the chaos is all so beautiful.” Hiromu Arakawa
Lionel Fusco was sweating his ass off. It was late September, supposed to be fall, but NYC hadn’t gotten the message. It was hot as hell. People were going crazy in the heat.
Backing Up
