Because it's sex pollen fic! Every fandom needs one. Or several. And Fringe definitely lends itself to the genre. During this case, Olivia and her new partner Lincoln get to know each other rather better than FBI protocols deem appropriate. Given the precedents this show sets, it was probably inevitable. As Olivia says in this fic: “I’ve learned in this job to keep my expectations very vague and very, very low.” But at least this case provides some measure of (sexy) compensation.
