Summary: Five separate days in the life Arthur and Merlin have built together. What I call a "fly on the wall" fic.
Why this must be read I discovered this when someone mentioned it on merlin_finders. I was suprised it hadn't been rec'd here before! giselleslash's prose is beautiful. She weaves their relationship in a way that is achingly haunting. This is one of those stories that could be framed with one of them at the beginning, standing on a bridge remembering, and then at the end jumping off because the other was gone forever...and we would all use up boxes of Kleenex for hours after reading it. But it is not that way...it has a happy ending, so don't worry! I think what makes that scenario come to mind is just the absolute perfection and love that is their relationship in this story, and how you just wouldn't be able to imagine one continuing without the other.
