Every Monday, Merlin walks around the lake of Avalon and then has a drink at the pub. He does this because he's waiting, waiting for the rest of the world to fall into place.

Starting out my month of Merlin, I wanted to have a Post-Finale fic choice at the outset. This story does a great job of painting the ages that Merlin’s had to wait to become that version of Merlin we saw in the flash-forward. I needed a happy ending after that finale, and this fic eased me into it rather well.

Oh, this sounds good. I can't wait to read. I noticed you're doing three fandoms as well this month. You go!! I thought juggling two was hard enough when I did that once, but three?! Well, keep the recs coming, I look forward to reading 'em. :)

I got the assignments a couple days apart from each other, and I'd already gone through and chosen recs and done most of the coding before the next one came in. So now I can just copy and paste in for posts throughout the month!
I might end up at at least 2 assignments in a future month- I'm hoping this strategy works out so I can use it again.
