Why this must be read: Sofia was one of those characters that people either liked or really disliked, personally I liked her a lot. Her interactions with Reese were excellent and you could definitely sense an underlying ruthlessness there. Pen Pal is a fic that follows up Masquerade. Reese and Sofia have kept in touch. To say more would be to spoil it, except to say, overprotective Reese is something to savour.
