Drowning by Arianna (NC-17)

This is my last rec for the month. I'm posting it a little early just encase I'm not around tomorrow or Tuesday. I apologise for overloading in the angst department, its my favourite genre and I guess I subconsciouly lean towards it even when I'm trying not too. I hope I wasn't too OTT and that there was something amongst the mix that appealed to you. Thanks for letting me drive. Bye.

Fandom: THE SENTINEL
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Length: 53’942
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] caarianna
Author Website: Arianna on Starfox’s Mansion (GEN) & Arianna’s Aerie (SLASH) & Shaman's Journey & Archived on AO3

Author’s Summary:
Jim and Blair escape the TSbyBS media frenzy in Cascade by going camping, but end up in trouble. Afterward, Blair's injuries make them an ideal 'couple' to go undercover. First times.

Why this must be read:
Arianna balances angst, deep love and friendship wonderfully in this piece as she meshes two stories smoothly together into one. The first half is angst driven while the second half is more a journey of discovery as the guys’ relationship shifts a gear in the crux of their undercover mission; it has a good compelling storyline that takes you on a rollercoaster ride but ultimately ends up at a happy place. I’ve enjoyed all of Arianna's stories and this one is no exception.

Oh, I'm so glad! If you want artwork with stories, it's more likely to be on my www.wolfpanther.com Arianna page in Starfox's Mansion (gen) or my home slash page at www.arianna.hidden-muse.com Rhianne, my webmistress totally rebuilt that site after it was compromised by hackers. Also, I collaborated with a lot of other great writers on the Shaman's Journey stories, an arc of stories that could stand alone but that tell a larger story when taken all together. The link for that series is on the hidden muse page. I hope you enjoy the stories!

Brava, sweetie! You did a great job, supplying us with stories from well-known and less well-known authors. I'm sure every one of them are tickled by the appreciative descriptions you gave. It's definitely been a great month for our fandom.
