Okay, these are my last few days here so I’m cramming some in.
This Alyjude story is sweetness itself. Another tale where Jim meets a younger version of Blair, it’s very cute without being sickly sweet. There’s a strong mysticism angle and that satisfying feeling of seeing Sentinel and Guide understand the true nature of their bond (and I don’t just mean the schmex!) but actually one of the main joys of this fic is the lovely easy dialogue between Jim and the young Visitor, who is clearly old beyond his years, and characteristically gobby. You can feel Jim’s heart opening up; a re-education process, courtesy of a very young teaching assistant……
