Why this must be read: - Blair and Daniel are old friends. At Cheyenne Mountain, Jack is pushing Daniel away; in Cascade, Jim is pushing Blair away. Daniel resigns, but then goes to Cascade to see Blair, because Blair has specialised knowledge that Daniel needs.
This is basically a story about Jim and Jack being over-protective, with Blair and Daniel insisting that they can look out for themselves. The voices are, for me, spot-on.
Dangermouse writes in several fandoms, and doesn't seem to have written Sentinel for some time (pity).
