Thanks for posting the link. I love firefly fiction of this quality, and with Jayne in it - heaven. I recommend the rest of the sequence to anyone who shares my preference - the characterisation of the crew is good throughout and the last chapter is hot.

I think this is a great series even though I can't conceptualize any 'Verse in which S/J actually occurs. It's quality FICTION because it's wonderfully paced and about very believable characters, and it's quality FAN fiction because the dialogue rings very true once you get over the non-Euclidean quality of there ever being any Simon/Jayne.
