Retro Wednesday is up again. . . . . So Much for Wishes by Ellis Ward - last recc'ed in 2004.

Why this must be read: Well I am not much for kids and CI5 but what if one of our lads were the child and the other wasn't? Ellis Ward explores just that with a bit of magic. This story seemed so real, I could see it unfold in my mind. This is in my top ten, who'd a thought a kid story could make it in.
It was--and it wasn't. There was no denying that the face of the person sitting in a breathless heap only a few inches away was that of his partner of eight and a half years. No question of that at all, despite the fact that the angles and shadows of adulthood had been replaced with the downy curves and big-eyed appeal of youth.
