I am probably older but have a Kindle - I travel a lot, being retired... I'm not sure what a flip phone is - my mobile (cell phone in American?) is a clamshell I bought in 2005 and it doesn't take photographs or anything - just makes phone calls and acts as an alarm clock. But yes, wordcounts are important. I find it hard to read online for any length of time, and of course there are those times when I'm offline anyway. Anything much over 5000 words goes onto my Kindle. Good luck with finding all the wordcounts - stories on AO3 and some other sites kindly give them to you!!
