Thinking by Jane (PG-17)
Fandom: Queer as Folk USA
Pairing: Brian/Justin
Author on LJ: unknown
Author Website: unknown
Why this must be read:
This story is split into two chapters, but I think each chapter works well on its own. I particularly want to recommend the second chapter, "The Pitch." I laughed out loud several times while reading this because it plays so well on the quirks and obsessions that make Brian Kinney the lovably dysfunctional mess that he is. I love fics where Brian admits how much Justin means to him, but in a completely in-character, believable way. Jane does a good job of showing us the workings of Brian's mind, and "The Pitch" sparkles with humor as well. If you enjoy this story, I heartily recommend you check out the other stories she has up at bjfic.net.
