Why this must be read:
So, many moons ago, around the time of There But for the Grace of God, a lot (and I do mean a lot) of quantum mirror stories were written. This one, as you might have guessed, is just such a story. This story stands out above the others, in my opinion, because of the awesome way Delilah wrote it. That and she made Jack blind. She wrote it in an interweaving first/second person povs, Daniel in first and Jack in second. Both povs can feel limiting sometimes, but they never do here. With the switches every so often, you get an entire spectrum of storyline.
And! Okay, love, *love* the fact that Other Daniel sees things and is told things because he's not Jack's lover, and not so close that he can't see anything. You know? I love that Daniel doesn't know everything, just because they're sleeping together. I love that he still needs someone to point stuff out to him. Very cool.
