Why this must be read:
For a glimpse into something we were never given the opportunity to see: pillow talk, B/K style. This short vignette captures a post-coital Keller, whose sleep is interrupted by Beecher's nightmares. It's a reminder of the many Operation Toby scenes, where Chris attempted to comfort Beecher, ulterior motives all around. This mix of AU and canon shows us Keller attempting the same thing, only now, his motives are clearer: his own sleep and Beecher's sanity.
The fic also puts a different spin on the nightmare/dream Toby had, pre-parole hearing, in which he frolicked and picnicked with Katherine McClain.
