The first time I read this story, I found it sexy, sad and poignant, and I didn't have a clue that it was a crossover; it just seemed like a neat idea. A lot of fic about Lilah and Wes focuses on the ugly bits; this one writes about happy times, shows how their relationship progressed, and yet is the very opposite of fluff.
