Why this must be read:
Because Shrift is really, really good at cute, funny stories that bring lots of Dan and Casey joy to fans around the world, and this is one of the best on offer. It's quite fluffy, but keeps our gruesome twosome in character well enough to make sure it's a lot more than that. Kinda like the show itself, in that sense. It's very cool, especially with the geek references (the Anti-Keanu is a concept that has brought much joy to my life, heh) and the way issues are brought up. And while it's purely a personal thing, this has some of the cutest, yet not sickening, stuff I've seen in the fandom. Awwwwwwww.
