Though Lovers be Lost by Margaret (NC-17)
Fandom: HIGHLANDER
Pairing: Duncan MacLeod/Methos/Kronos
Author on LJ: unknown
Author Website:Welcome to Margaret's Place
Why this must be read:
Ah, revenge.
There is really is nothing like it. This is a story that walks on the dark side, and is not for the faint hearted. Dark magic, revenge, sex, kidnapping, a bound and gagged Highlander, more revenge, violence, a tied up Methos, more sex, a Quickening, and more! (Not all in that order, of course.) And at the end, Joe comes and drives them home.
Kronos is back, let the nasty fun begin.
"Miss me?" Kronos asked with a smirk that belied the innocent curiosity in his voice.
Methos regarded his brother with cool disdain, quite a feat for someone tied up and half-naked. "No," he replied, daring anyone to challenge the blatant lie.
Kronos' grin broadened, "Good." And his head dipped forward again, but he paused, his lips a bare breath from Methos' own, making him wait, making them all wait.
"What are you doing?" outraged disbelief eclipsed even the hatred in Jordan's voice and all the humour vanished from Kronos' expression, but though he was obviously listening, he didn't turn around. "You know who he is, *what* he is - he *engineered* your death, the deaths of the other Horsemen," Jordan continued, dark with fury. "You're supposed to kill him. You're supposed to make him *pay*!"
