Movement in Still Life by Ice and Pablo

Why this must be read:
Well, after starting with High School AU's I had been planning on moving on the College Life and Hometown fics, but a little research turned up the fact that all the fics I wanted to rec in those categories had already been done. So we're moving right along to what I call the Career fics.
These are the fics in which the jobs or careers of the boys are what brings the story to life. What happens to our boys if instead of getting together musically, they do it via their jobs at a copy shop? Or a zoo? Or any one of a zillion other places. Sometimes these fics use the jobs as just the excuse to bring the group together, other times the author actually thinks about what those different circumstances would mean to the personalities involved.
Either way, most of these stories are somewhat romanticized. The work environment is a hotbed of sexual tension, and (unlike most of us) nobody is dying of boredom.
Movement in Still Life, however, takes a very different tack. Here, Lance is a circuit queen - which is a profession in itself. Sex and drugs and trance, all come together in one night in the life of a partyboy.
