Why you must read this
A quick (kind of) overview on Andrew, then on to the rec
Andrew was one of the Trioka, the trio of not quite so villianous guys headed up by Warren that Buffy fought in Season 6. Warren killed Tara and Andrew and Jonathan fled to Mexico. In S7, Jonathan and Andrew came back, drawn by the First, the First had been appearing to Andrew in the form of Warren. Talked into it by First!Warren, Andrew killed Jonathan. Later he was caught and taken hostage by the Scoobies although he tried to convince them he was reformed.
To say Andrew is a big geek is an understatment. He's the King of Geeks. Gaming Systems, movies, RPGs, comic books, tv shows, Andrew knows way more facts and trivia than anyone person should know. He also has a way of relating everything back to those things, turning everything into a fantasy. But most of all Andrew desparatly wants to fit in and have people really like him.
Why you must read this:
The story is sweet and a little sad and peppered with all the geek references Andrew would make so it sounds like him. It's a great story about Andrew's invisibilty within the group and his longing to belong and how he really, honestly, wants to atone for his sins. Even though he gets caught up in trying to turn everything into a story and relate it back to a fantasy world.
