Yes, No, Maybe by Annie (PG)

Why this must be read:

I’m ending my run as Sports Night driver with one of my favorite writers in the Sports Night fandom. This story is told in past, present, and future breakdowns and the progression works because of the story being told. In his therapy, it’s suggested that Dan might want to stop dating for awhile, but where does that leave Casey?

This story is entirely Dan and Casey and I love the ease of the banter between them. It’s so natural.

Plus, happy endings make me smile, especially when it’s full of possibilities

Dan smiles at him, and tilts his head to the side. "This is the type of situation where Dana's dating plan would make sense."

"You didn't just say that." Casey shakes his head, but Dan keeps nodding.

"I did," Dan says, and a teasing smile ghosts across his face.

"You didn't. You didn't just suggest that the Six Month Dating Plan was a good idea."

"I didn't say it was a good idea. I just suddenly see the logic in it."

"There was no logic," Casey declares, cutting the air with dramatic hand motions. "It was an insane idea, formulated by an insane woman. It's the type of thing that only makes sense to a lunatic."

So go read, enjoy, and leave feedback: Yes, No, and Maybe.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the recs for this month! It’s been fun!
