Why this must be read: This was published in Elusive Lover: Alternate Visions. It's an AU of what would happen if Luke had been too slow, and blown the Death Star after it destroyed Yavin.
Luke is a basket case: eaten up with survivor guilt, and it's up to Han to put his pieces back toghether. Very gently he does, letting Luke take what comfort he needs as he needs it. Sweet and painful, and a semi-happy ending.
