Why this must be read: Of the various 'Richie isn't dead' fics, this is definitely one of the best. The premise is believable, Joe and Methos get good play, and Welcome Back looks straight on at the idea that if Richie wasn't killed, then he has to deal with Duncan having tried to kill him again.
