Why this must be read:

This is one of the first stories I ever read in this fandom and I love it. It shows Ryan's need to protect everyone even at the cost of his relationships.

I also like how nobody is perfect in this story, both Seth and Ryan have the moments of complete assholery without being out of character.

In other words: Awesome.

“So.” Seth began.

“So.” Ryan echoed, gripping the speckled tan filter of his cigarette and ashing into the gutter. He licked his lips as he stared into the darkness of the street. “I kind of thought you never wanted to see me again.”

“I didn’t.” Seth replied, too quickly.
