Liz wrote this story for the QAF:US Series Dream Ending Challenge at comingthengoing. The challenge was for everyone to write the fic of their dream ending, obviously, and I think Liz did an awesome job of capturing what a lot of the Brian/Justin fans would like to see happen when the series draws to a close at the end of this season. Things change, but we're sometimes surprised by how easy change can be, and how some things never change at all.

He couldn't help himself when Justin sauntered up to him, and a smirk escaped despite his best efforts to keep his face expressionless. Justin smirked back, tilting his head back.

"Headed someplace special?"

Brian couldn't hold down the wave of warmth, and he didn't really want to. It took all of his energy not to reach out and crush Justin to him, but somehow he managed. His voice didn't come out as husky as he thought it would either. "Not really."
