Why this must be read:

Because by the end... you will cry. Again, D.C. Logan is another author who can just dig into the characters and make them seem real. It starts off with all of the pilots right after the war and stretches out from there into the years that follow. The primary focus is Heero and Duo's relationship.

And, more importantly, their relationship isn't perfect. They get in fights. Both of them have their faults, and they're really just the kind of things you'd expect from these characters. However, you never doubt that these two are in love.

A fair warning: this story gets angsty. I cried. There's a very good chance that you'll cry. You may need tissues. But I can guarantee that, unless you hate sad stories with a passion, you'll love it.

I just have to comment to say: I was in the GW fandom for a long time, and this is really the only fic I remember in great detail. I've read it a few times, and every single time it's made me cry, really, really cry. It's such a great fic! I love all of D.C. Logan's fics, but this is the one that sticks out.

I know what you mean. It's possibly one of the (if not the) saddest fics in the GW fandom. D.C. Logan knows just how to reach inside and just tear your heart apart.
