Why this must be read: Because I said so! Other than that you should read it because it's a damned good story, just like Ellen's other stories. In this one, Daniel wakes up in the infirmary alone. In fact, the entire SGC is deserted. What follows is the twist and turns of time travel plus one hell of a surprise ending. I thought about this story for days the first time I read it. Ellen Caldera is a wonderful story teller.

Caveat: Don't read this story if you don't have a lot of time. The first time through can be a little confusing. But give it a shot. You won't be sorry.

This is one of the first fics I completely fell in love with. A couple of years later, I'm not wild about the ending, but the sheer twistiness and tension of the plot (and with Meridian to compare it to) leaves me with a lot of affection for it.

Wow. Thanks for reccing this, it was pretty damn spiffy. Once I starting thinking about the ending, I wasn't entirely sure about it, but at the moment I was reading it, I loved it :)

My favorite thing is how she handles the various character's relationships.
