Why this must be read: This story really captures the Sorkin banter. In it Dan has discovered the internet and is completely caught up in it. Written in the show's timeline, internet usage wasn't nearly as common as now- shocking :). My favorite line actually is from Natalie:

"The internet's broken," Natalie said, eyes bright. "Jeremy was just
telling me about it. It's so sexy. All the gigahertz and the packages."

"Packets," Jeremy corrected.

"Mm, packets." She shivered.

Great laughs and a sweet pre-slash story.

This story is entirely adorable! I loved it. Natalie's so hyper but cute, Jeremy is adorkable, Casey is calm in the face of Danny's obnoxiousness, and Froot Loops! *loves*

Side note to show just how geeky I am: it's not ARAPNET--the precursor to the intarweb was Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET).

Oh, thank GOD it wasn't just me! *feels less geeky*

Yeah, ditto. Phew.

Oh for the love of tiny pretzels, how embarrassing. God only knows how I got that wrong.

*hides face*

Hey, in my book, any story that has packet switching in it is cool. Besides, the story itself is fabulous.

Aw, thanks. I fixed Jeremy so he had ARPANET. Now I don't have to hide my face anymore. *g*

Oh, ITA. :D

I only mentioned the acronym typo b/c it was a tiny flaw in an otherwise excellent story. I don't usually bother to nitpick.
