Why this must be read:

First of all, I apologize for the lack of recs this past week; my family dragged me off camping.

Kon/Clark isn't really a very popular pairing in this fandom--there are only five or six quality fics written recently that I know of--but it's still one of my absolute favorites, and this story is why. Te totally *gets* Kon, and his weird relationship to Superman. This fic is hot, sweet, and the characterization is absolutely dead-on. Poor Clark just has no idea what to *do* with Kon, and on top of everything else Kon has to deal with this huge secret he has to keep from Clark, and--I could go on and on about this fic, so I'll stop there, and just say that it's really, really worth reading, even if you think you're kind of squicked by the pairing.


It isn't the same mattress Clark slept on. It isn't
even the same mattress *he* slept on when he
first moved in here. When you have superpowers,
and nightmares, things... happen.

One more thing to feel guilty about, but mostly
it's just...

Sometimes Kon looks around this room and he
can't *breathe*. All the posters are his, and all
the *mess* is his, but Clark did his homework
at *that* desk, and Clark said his prayers on
*this* floor, and Clark grew into the World's
Greatest Hero right here. Sometimes Kon thinks
he can -- not smell him. But *feel* him.

Thanks a bunch for the rec. Didn't think I would get into Kon/Clark, but it's a great story. On second thought, Damn You! *shakes fist* Now I'm hankering after another rare pairing! Would be grateful if you'd rec a coupla more ... ^_^ Any more links?
