Why this must be read:

I've always had a problem with the fourth series. In a nutshell, I don't like it. I remember all too well the bitter disappointment every week as each new episode aired and this thing masquerading as Blake's Seven occupied my life for fifty minutes and let me down again. At the same time, without the fourth series, we wouldn't have 'Blake', and Blake's Seven without that episode is greatly diminished.

In this short, sweet and beautifully written one-shot, hafren wipes away all the tears and all the pain. This is a magical piece of writing, as simple and lovely as a child's fairy story. If you haven't read it, go and do so now - but be warned, however, that it contains fairly massive spoilers for the end of the fourth series...

Glad you like it. 'Beautifully written' describes a lot of yours as well. It was a hard choice. I spent a lot of time staring at 'Sentence'.
