The Not So Secret Diary of John Crichton by Trajictale (R)

Why this must be read:
And now we come around full circle. I kicked off the month with a perfect intro to the series, I know finish with a perfect summation that while much more effective if you've seen the series, also hits nearly all of the high points and peaks your curiosity for the full story. It does stop at Bad Timing, however, so feel free to read and then watch the Mini-Series spoiler-free.
Lest you shy away from this one due to the title, I should let you know that I too have read a cubic ton of parody fics of the "Secret Diary" variety, and while fun fluff they do tend to be marked by widely out-of-character remarks and situations, played up for comic effect. This is not that sort of Diary fic. This is in fact a fairly good portrayal of what John may indeed be scribbling in that notebook of his, and weaves together snark, buffoonery, mush, and angst as seamlessly as the show itself.
Plus! It's illustrated. John Crichton apparently draws as well as he sings. You've been warned.
Go, read, and scribble in the margins.

Well, that's it for me. It's been a blast! Hope you all liked this tour of the weirder side of the fandom, and if not, you can always add your name to the cue and get me to read what you like. Win-win situation, really. Thank you
shaggirl and
stopawhile for giving me this incredible opportunity, and thank you to everybody who let me know how good a job I was doing. Peace. *tosses keys to

Day 432
Aeryn has great breasts.
I should know. I’ve been in them.
And they’re real.
Day 447
Summary, in short.
- Made out with Aeryn in module.
- Got rejected by Aeryn. Again.
- Kissed some random woman to make Aeryn jealous.
- Found out it was a princess.
- Married princess under threat of being handed to Scorpius.
- Princess became pregnant even though I never went near her.
- Got frozen in carbonite. Now I know how Han feels. I didn’t get the cool line though.
- Got my head chopped off.
- Got unfrozen.
- Frelled an assassin.
- Regretted that decision.
- Saw my kid.
- Left the palace.
- Cried. A lot.
Harvey’s pretty much there all the time now. Like that piece of gum you step on that you can’t get off your shoe. It hurts. Aeryn’s already looking at me like I’ve grown another head and D’Argo’s too busy with Chiana. I don’t blame him for that but I need someone to talk to and talking to Aeryn would only lead to an argument. Or kissing. And then kissing would lead to an argument.
I would’ve asked the princess if we could’ve named our daughter after my mother. She probably would’ve said no but I would’ve asked.
