In "Aliquot" elistaire has written to the mysterious aspects of the Immortal Quickening and what it means to the Immortals who possess and receive it.

There are many stories in which Immortals, usually the elder and more powerful, have learned to control or otherwise manipulate their Quickenings to their desires. Although not written out as a standard of rules, elistaire's take on Immortal Quickenings in "Aliquot" is unique.

This story is written well and has that comfortable, soothing feel of an established relationship between Duncan and Methos that always makes me want to read more.

I hope that others enjoy "Aliquot" as much as I.
